Every day is a chance to begin again. Don't focus on the failures of yesterday, start today with positive thoughts and expectations.

Another essential part of my coaching is the illumination of the individual handling of professional and personal stress.

Many people are not aware that a negative attitude towards nutrition (especially when it comes to losing weight!) or other professional and/or private stress can significantly reduce, if not negate, the positive effect of sport and healthy nutrition._cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

The stress hormone cortisol has been scientifically proven to lead to muscle breakdown, increased water retention in the body and increased storage of fat cells (mainly in the abdominal region and face). This applies in particular when the stress level is constantly high and there are no correspondingly long periods of rest. Stress also has some other unsightly side effects such as a weakening of the immune system, tension, digestive problems and a reduction in performance (sporting and intellectual). In addition, there is often the fact that sugary foods are often used as "sedatives".

Depending on the intensity of your stress, you could already be suffering from an imminent or acute burn-out. Unfortunately, top performers in particular tend to suppress or ignore the associated symptoms for a very long time. Nevertheless:

Burn-out is an illness and requires medical treatment! A coach cannot and should not replace this, but can only provide additional support.

I have youherecompiled some information on the topic of burn-out.
